Camilla Boschian is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Perlis Lab. Her doctoral research examined how human vestibular tissue responds to aminoglycoside-induced hair-cell loss, focusing on changes in gene expression in hair cells and supporting cells. This work, published in Hearing Research in 2025, investigated the response to gentamicin-induced hair-cell ablation and changes in E-cadherin. She has also contributed to collaborative functional-genomics research identifying microglial regulators associated with schizophrenia.
