Joshua Bowen is a Research Technician in the Perlis Lab. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northeastern University. His prior work at Boston Children’s Hospital included molecular-genetics services such as DNA and RNA extraction, sample-quality assessment, quantitative PCR, Sanger sequencing, gene-expression analysis, and genotyping. He has experience operating sequencing and genomic-analysis platforms and contributed to research manuscripts from the Manton Center for Orphan Disease Research. Earlier training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital included participant recruitment and screening for clinical sleep studies.
