Varun Thopcherneni is a Clinical Research Co-op Student in the Perlis Lab and a Computer Science student on the pre-medical track at Northeastern University. His research experience at Northeastern’s Brain Game Center includes supporting human-subject studies of cognition and learning, organizing behavioral datasets, and using Excel, R, and Python for data preparation, analysis, and visualization. His background also includes clinical shadowing at Northwell Health and emergency-room volunteering at Catholic Health. His academic and research work connects computational methods with cognition, healthcare, and clinical research.
